Move beyond what holds you back.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy approach that helps individuals process traumatic and distressing experiences that may continue to affect their thoughts, emotions, physical responses, and everyday life. EMDR can be effective for trauma and PTSD as well as other concerns associated with distressing experiences, including anxiety, panic, and emotional reactivity.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require you to describe a traumatic experience in extensive detail. Instead, the therapy uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements or alternating taps—to help the brain reprocess distressing memories and experiences that may feel unresolved or “stuck.” Over time, this process can help reduce the intensity of emotional and physical responses while allowing the experience to become less disruptive in the present.

How EMDR can help:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Survivors of Trauma

  • PTSD

  • Severe Emotional Distress

  • Overwhelming/Intrusive Memories

  • Veterans/First Responders
