Tween and Teen Therapy
Support for the years when everything seems to change.
The teenage years can be complicated—filled with growing independence, changing relationships, academic pressure, and the challenge of figuring out who you are. Counseling gives teens a place to talk openly, build practical skills, and work through challenges with the guidance of a therapist who understands this stage of life.
Many of the young people I work with are bright and capable, but get stuck in unhealthy patterns. We focus on helping them recognize what’s happening internally and build practical tools to shift their responses over time in a way that feels manageable and real—not forced. Therapy provides a space for young people to build confidence, better understand their emotions, develop practical coping skills, and work through concerns related to school, friendships, family, and self-esteem. Additionally, teen counseling often involves collaboration with parents or guardians to ensure a supportive home environment.
