INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual counseling for those who appear to have it together—but feel overwhelmed, reactive, or mentally exhausted behind the scenes. This work goes beyond talking about problems; we focus on identifying and changing the patterns driving stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity so you can function with more clarity, control, and consistency in your daily life.

TEEN COUNSELING

Specialized therapy for tweens and teens who are intense, reactive, withdrawn, or resistant to traditional approaches. Many of the young people I work with are bright and capable, but get stuck in patterns of anger, shutdown, anxiety, or conflict. We focus on helping them recognize what’s happening internally and build practical tools to shift their responses over time in a way that feels manageable and real—not forced. Additionally, teen counseling often involves collaboration with parents or guardians to ensure a supportive home environment.

COLLEGE STUDENT & YOUNG ADULT COUNSELING

College students and young adults face a unique set of difficulties during these transition years. Students and young adults will receive help navigating these unique challenges of academic life, personal growth, and the transition to adulthood. These individuals often face stress from academic pressure, adjusting to a new environment, social expectations, and career decisions, which can sometimes lead to anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. Together we'll work to build coping skills, manage stress, improve self-esteem, and work through emotional or psychological difficulties that might affect their academic/work performance or personal well-being. Common topics include time management, balancing academic and social life, identity exploration, and managing mental health conditions

EMDR THERAPY

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a structured form of psychotherapy designed to help individuals heal from trauma or distressing life experiences. EMDR is based on the idea that traumatic memories can become "stuck" in the brain and continue to cause - emotional pain, often leading to symptoms of anxiety, depression, or post- traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This therapy aims to reprocess these memories, reducing their emotional impact and allowing the individual to heal.

WOMEN & PARENTING COUNSELING

Therapy of women who are holding everything together—but feel exhausted doing it. This includes parenting stress, emotional burnout, relationship strain, and the pressure of managing multiple roles well. Our work is active and insight-driven, focused on helping you identify what’s driving overwhelm and shifting the patterns that keep you stuck in reactivity, guilt, or over-functioning. Parenting counseling aims to support both the parent's well-being and the child's healthy development by equipping parents with the confidence, tools, and emotional resilience they need to thrive in their role

COUNSELING FOR VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS & FAMILY MEMBERS

Counseling for veterans and first responders is designed to address the unique challenges faced by those who serve and protect others. These individuals often encounter high levels of stress, trauma, and life-threatening situations, which can take a toll on their mental and emotional well-being. Counseling provides a safe, supportive space to process these experiences, reduce the weight of trauma, and develop healthy coping strategies.

Sessions may focus on issues such as post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, or difficulties adjusting to civilian or family life. Using evidence-based approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, or trauma-informed care—to help clients manage symptoms and foster resilience.

Beyond symptom relief, counseling also emphasizes strengthening relationships, improving communication, and restoring balance between work, personal life, and self-care. For many veterans and first responders, counseling becomes a vital resource for reclaiming peace, rediscovering purpose, and building a healthier path forward.
